Project Satori is developing S/HE, a sustainable, globally scalable mental health protocol designed to provide human trafficking survivors with a definitive path to long-term psychological recovery. By integrating seamlessly into existing rescue efforts, S/HE aims to reduce global recidivism and make lasting empowerment a reality for survivors worldwide
Thousands are trafficked through Los Angeles every year, yet survivors often face a second crisis: a lack of accessible, specialized mental health care. Existing options are frequently too brief, too expensive, or culturally disconnected. Project Satori bridges this gap, providing comprehensive, long-term, and non-discriminatory psychological support to survivors—ensuring healing is never restricted by the ability to pay.

Sex trafficking feeds and perpetuates multiple abuses against women and children. Because of this, our scope of services includes culturally sensitive care for the victims of domestic violence, rape, sexual molestation, as well as all forms of cultural violence.

We want to provide advocacy and prevention work to raise awareness about sex trafficking. We also wish to help to inform, and empower vulnerable communities so that together we can keep women and children safe.

We wish to create a breadth of clinical training services that will help prepare psychological interns and practicing professionals for working with survivors of sex trafficking.

We are planning to open a new facility that will provide individual, group and art therapy services, psychological assessment, and all other necessary psychiatric support for the survivors of sex trafficking and their families.
